What is a Facial Massage?

A facial massage treatment is a type of skin care service that involves applying gentle pressure and strokes to the face and neck.

It is designed to relax the facial muscles, ease stress and leave your skin feeling cleansed, fresh and cared for. At Willow Massage Centre in East Belfast, our one hour facial includes cleansing and toning, a clay mask, and a thorough massage of the neck, shoulders and arms while the clay works.

Tailored to You, Priced by Time

At Willow, you pay for the time, and we work on what you need. We take a holistic approach and listen, so your therapist will start with a short consultation about your skin and how you feel, and can tailor the treatment within your booked time. Prices are shown in our online booking system.

Possible Benefits of a Facial Massage

Many clients book a facial massage to help with:

  • Feeling relaxed and pampered
  • Easing tension in the face, neck and shoulders
  • Skin that feels cleansed, refreshed and nourished
  • Time out for yourself and a chance to talk through your skincare routine

A facial massage may help you feel relaxed and your skin look fresh, but results vary and it does not replace medical or dermatological care. Please tell your therapist about any skin conditions or allergies before your treatment.

Who a Facial Massage Suits

A facial massage suits anyone who wants to relax and enjoy a pampering session, or who would like some professional advice on their skincare routine and products. Your therapist will go through your skin type and any concerns, such as dryness or sensitivity, and tailor the treatment for you.

When to Speak to Us First

  • People with severe allergies or hypersensitivity to facial products

A facial massage is a technique that involves gently stroking and kneading the skin and muscles of the face.

It can help to relax facial tension, improve blood circulation, stimulate lymphatic drainage, and enhance the natural glow of the skin.

A facial massage can be performed by a professional therapist or by oneself using a facial roller, a jade gua sha tool, or the fingers. A facial massage can be done as part of a skincare routine or as a standalone treatment
